A big friend of mine, who is in Portugal, posted this on his facebook: (his name)... is thinking to himself (ONCE AGAIN): "How stupid and judgemental can people be? Are there any limits?"... imho I don't think so and that makes me sad.

I gave him this feedback:

... you know what I most like about here in Amsterdam? You simply CAN'T FIND any stupid nor judgemental people... like, really, you can't find them... you can be fat, skiny, small, tall, gay, lesbian, dress in purple with little yellow dots... it really doesn't matter. I think I'm going to kill myself when I get back in Portugal and have to deal with so judgemental people, always thinking they are in some special position that they can judge your life and what the hell you do with that! ;)

And I really, really, really mean it. :)

Um grande amigo meu, que está em Portugal, colocou isto no facebook: (o nome dele) ... está a pensar para si mesmo (mais uma vez): "O quão estúpidas e judgmental as pessoas podem ser? Será que há algum limite? Eu não acho, o que me deixa triste"

Eu respondi:


...sabes o que eu mais gosto aqui em Amsterdam? Simplesmente não encontras pessoas estúpidas, nem judgemental... não consegues encontrar, mesmo... podes ser gordo, magro,, pequeno, alto, gay, lésbica, vestires-te de roxo com bolinhas amarelas... isso realmente não importa. Acho que vou me matar quando voltar a Portugal e tiver de lidar com pessoas tão críticas, sempre pensando que estão numa posição especial em que podem julgar a tua vida e o que fazes com ela! ;)

E eu realmente, realmente, realmente falo a verdade. :)

 

Se tive a óptima adaptação que tive e ainda estou a ter, isso deve-se, em grande parte, à abertura de mentes e acessibilidade das pessoas.
